StartUp HUB, the center for entrepreneurship development, adult education and vocational training, completed a successful year in 2023. Co-founding President Róbert Grüman related the achievements and results.
StartUp HUB has provided the opportunity for 100 young people to start their first business through its business development programs. The start-ups received a €25,000 non-reimbursable grant, and they could use it to put their ideas into practice. The young entrepreneurs and their activities are featured here, on the StartUp HUB website and on our social media platforms.
More than 400 young people from abroad and accompanying teachers participated in quality training programmes in Sfântu Gheorghe. The aim of the programmes was to provide young people with theoretical and practical skills in different professions and to familiarise them with the local culture and economy.
Thanks to adult education programmes, hundreds of unemployed young people and adults have benefited from vocational training programmes to obtain a diploma in their chosen profession. This has helped young people find a job more easily and increased their chances of building a successful career.
In his annual evaluation video, Róbert Grüman thanked the partners who helped to organise quality programmes and the staff who kept the momentum going.
StartUp HUB will continue these activities next year and wishes everyone a successful and happy New Year.
