The educational toolkit and facilitation guide Empowering Youth Voices: Mastering Facilitation for Inclusive Dialogue & Decision-Making is officially available. Produced under the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 1, KA153-YOU) and coordinated by Asociația StartUp HUB in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania, this practical resource is the collaborative output of 40 youth workers, trainers, and educators from 8 European countries who gathered from 19 to 25 September 2026.
What is inside the toolkit?
Facilitation Foundations: Insights into the three hats of a facilitator (Architect, Pilot, Guide), balancing group energy across tasks, processes, and relationships, and understanding rank and power dynamics to foster a safe space.
Four Core Toolkits: Actionable exercises on Non-Violent Communication (NVC), conflict analysis and de-escalation, consensus-building mechanisms, along with visual facilitation and structured minute-taking.
Six Ready-to-Run Workshops: Complete workshop blueprints created and tested by participants on discrimination, young workers’ rights, digital disconnection, empathy and active bystanders, stereotypes, and wealth inequality.
Reflection and Youthpass: Structured methods to track learning outcomes, support self-assessment, and recognise non-formal education achievements.
