From August 6–10, SIC Feszt took place, where StartUp HUB welcomed visitors to its own tent with a programme of inspiring talks. The programme included thematic presentations, motivational talks, and interactive workshops. These were all designed to give participants practical knowledge and fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship and the world of work.

On Thursday, the co-founders of Quantum Digitális Diákszövetkezet from Budapest, Kecskés Csoma and Bőhm Zsombor, shared how a simple idea was transformed into a successful business. Following their presentation, participants enjoyed a wine tasting led by Héjja Huba Ferencz, wine expert and head of Borbrigád, complemented by gourmet selections provided by STEKI Manufaktura and Meotis.

On Friday, an interactive workshop entitled “I Became an Adult, What’s Next?” was hosted by the DreamJobs Romania team. Practical tips and advice on how to approach the job search process with confidence were given to the participants The programme finished with a special coffee tasting and networking event, which was organised together with Julius Meinl. This event offered sophisticated aromas and valuable conversations.

On Saturday, during the discussion entitled “They Dared, They Won: Launching a Business with European Support”, three young local entrepreneurs – Karácsony Adrien (Home Spa), Bartha Levente (Woodsense), and Tartán Hilda (Remedin) – shared their experiences of obtaining EU funding and building their businesses step by step. The day ended with a pálinka tasting. This was led by specialist Gábor Szidónia.

We would like to thank our speakers, partners and participants for their active involvement and the wonderful atmosphere they have created. This year’s events once again demonstrated that entrepreneurial stories, shared community experiences and professional programmes together form a valuable source of inspiration that contributes to the long-term growth of a strong entrepreneurial community.
