Nearly 200 entrepreneurs and business executives gathered in Cluj-Napoca for Versenyelőny 4.0 to immerse themselves for three days in the most current topics of business development, leadership mindset, and company building. Hosted at the Golden Tulip Hotel, the event featured 7 distinct training tracks and more than 20 renowned experts, providing participants with practical, immediately applicable knowledge.

Over the past few years, Versenyelőny has grown into one of Transylvania’s most influential business leadership training events. Across its four editions, nearly 800 entrepreneurs and executives have joined this continuously expanding professional community—a network that believes in progress, the power of knowledge-sharing, and intentional business building. The Cluj-Napoca event proved once again that there is a rapidly growing demand in the local business ecosystem for high-level, practice-oriented training and authentic entrepreneurial insights.

The program originally launched as a vision of StartUp HUB, initiated by Grüman Róbert and Oltean Csongor in 2025. Egerszegi Krisztián (MiniCRM Zrt.) and Balogh Petya (STRT Akadémia) enthusiastically joined the movement as founding partners.

The change of venue marked a major milestone in the life of the event, best summarized by the words of Grüman Róbert: “We organized the first three events in Bálványosfürdő, but for the fourth edition, we have arrived in Cluj-Napoca. Our goal is to provide as many Transylvanian Hungarian entrepreneurs and executives as possible with access to top-tier business knowledge, thereby supporting their growth, increasing their competitiveness, and fostering structured company building,” said Grüman Róbert.

The Turbocharge Masterclass focused on the cornerstones of intentional company building, scalable business models, and long-term ownership mindset. The track’s professional leads, Balogh Petya and Egerszegi Krisztián, used practical examples to demonstrate how to build systems and processes that enable sustainable growth. The program was further enriched by Nagy Károly, who shared decades of organizational building experience, while Dr. Varga Eszter presented the core competencies of successful leaders and key areas for developing managerial efficiency.

The Sales Accelerator track centered on the most critical tools and strategies in modern sales and marketing. Zolnay Judit outlined the core principles of effective business communication, while Kiss Levente demonstrated how Meta and Google campaigns can drive business growth and customer acquisition. Grüman Róbert utilized a real-world case study to illustrate the vital role of CRM systems in managing sales pipelines more efficiently. Wolf Gábor analyzed strategic brand-building opportunities on social media, and Janata Kriszta presented a step-by-step, five-day campaign structure that can be easily put into practice. The track concluded with a presentation by Litvai Gábor, which offered insights into the business applications of 3D and AR technologies, as well as the future of experience-based branding.

The HR Upgrade training focused on the changing challenges of the labor market and human-centric organizational design. Bajor Márton and Grüman Éva Orsolya outlined Gen Z’s workplace expectations, motivational drivers, and effective retention methods, while Sztasztny Viktor shared practical insights and experiences regarding the integration, cooperation, and successful management of multicultural teams.

The ScaleUp track addressed the specific challenges and opportunities that arise when a business moves to its next growth phase. Kende-Hofherr Krisztina demonstrated how a strategically built personal brand can become one of the most powerful assets for a company’s development and market positioning. Meanwhile, Egerszegi Krisztián and Tóth Ildikó explored one of the most critical yet rarely discussed topics in business building: the exit process.

The AI PRO Masterclass deep-dived into the business applications of artificial intelligence. P. Tóth András showcased the strategic role of AI and the hidden potential it holds for corporate operations, while Gosztola Beatrix explained its practical uses in communication and content creation. Oltean Csongor presented StartUp HUB’s system integration solutions built on AI and automation, and Litvai Gábor used real-world e-commerce case studies to illustrate how AI can serve as a powerful engine for business growth.

The Negotio Executive track highlighted key elements of high-level business negotiation and executive communication. Dr. Újszászi Bogár László introduced the strategic thinking behind successful negotiations, covering effective questioning techniques, building value-driven deals, and the deliberate use of concessions. The presentation of Radó Tamás focused on the tools of pressure and manipulation encountered in high-stakes negotiations, providing a practical framework to recognize and confidently manage these situations.

The Founders Masterclass focused heavily on startup financing and scaling. Balogh Petya offered an investor’s perspective on how venture capitalists evaluate a business, what they look for during a pitch, and what makes a company investment-ready. Guestella founders Dezső Miklós and Miklós Zsolt drew from their own journeys to discuss the pros and cons of raising external capital versus bootstrapping, helping the audience better understand both the startup and the investor mindset. The pinnacle of the day was the Pitch Aréna, where emerging entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to real investors and received instant professional feedback to refine their plans.

One of the most vital pillars of Versenyelőny’s evolution is the broad professional alliance that has formed around the event. Thanks to StartUp HUB’s strategic partners and cooperating Transylvanian business organizations, a strong community has emerged, united by the shared goal of developing entrepreneurial skills, exchanging experiences, and boosting regional competitiveness. This collective effort is what allows Versenyelőny to deliver continuous value to an ever-growing number of entrepreneurs and executives.

According to Balogh Petya, the key to long-term business success requires much more than just a great idea: “A company’s growth is not dictated by the idea itself, but by the system that is capable of delivering results time and time again. A true competitive advantage begins when the business no longer runs purely on the owner’s personal energy, but relies instead on intentionally designed processes, a solid team, and a clear strategy.”

Versenyelőny 4.0 proved once again that the Transylvanian Hungarian entrepreneurial community is highly receptive to progress, new knowledge, and intentional company building. The insights, experiences, and business relationships forged during these three days are set to translate into tangible results and an authentic competitive advantage for the participating businesses in the coming months.

The teamwork continues. See you at the next edition of Versenyelőny!
